GRAPE VARIETIES: Greco 85% minimum and up to 15% of Coda di Volpe Bianca.
WINE NAME and STYLES PRODUCED:
- Greco di Tufo Bianco – White Still
- No ageing requirement. Minimum alcohol 11.5%.
- Greco di Tufo Spumante – White Sparkling
- Minimum alcohol 12.0%. Wine may be produced using “Metodo Classico” (secondary fermentation in the bottle) and must be aged minimum 36 months calculating from November 01, following the harvest.
PRODUCTION DISCIPLINES:
- Yield - Maximum production per hectare: 10,000 kilos.
PRODUCTION AREA:
- Communes: Grapes must come from the communes of: Tufo, Altavilla Irpina, Chianche, Montefusco, Prata di Principato Ultra, Petruro Irpino, Santa Paolina e Torrioni.
